My Son Heritage Site is located in a narrow valley, surrounded by springs, mountains and green, dense jungle. It consists of several temple – towers constructed between 7th and 13th century AD.
After centuries of wars and numerous natural changes there are still about 70 monuments remaining, representing six styles of ancient Champa art. It contains evidence of cultural interactions between Champa Kingdom and other South East Asian civilisations, such as India and China.
TOUR ITINERARY
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An area then drive you to My Son holy land, on the way they will stop you at some othe beautiful place such as rice paddy field, see water buffaloes, cows, local people who are on their daily work,Especially stop and visit a War- martyrs’ cemetery where you can see and learn about Vietnamese-American war that happened in this village.
After that we keep driving to visit My Son holy land, here our guide will show you the beauty of this place where you can have more opportunity to take lots of photos and learn more about history and culture of Champa people, getting to know how they build the towers from the 4th to 15th century….
After finishing the tour we go back to Hoi An and on the way we will stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a local dish such as Quang Nam noodle soup with pork or shrimp that very tasty.Tour ends, say goodbye at hotel in Hoi An ancient town.
